I...Can't...Take...That...Step

Okay, so I told you all that we have made a decision and are planning on adopting.  Great, good deal.  We think we know what agency we want.  Great, even better.  Then, why oh why can't I make the call to set up the meeting with the agency?  Why?  Every day I say, oh yeah, I'll call during my break today and well, I think we know how that's worked out for me.  I'm hoping by posting this on here.  I'll make the call and take the next step.

Why oh why are the holidays such a horrible time for people going through infertility?!  And why do I have to be surrounded with all these pregnant people at work???  At lunch on Monday, I had to sit through listening to a co-worker talk about how she cried when she found out she's having a girl and not the boy she wanted...really??  Today I had to walk into the teacher's lounge listening to the other pregnant teacher talk about how big her first baby was.  UGH!  I can't wait for break, I need to get away from all this pregnancy garbage.  It's too hard right now...

I'm so sorry, Michelle. I'm praying for you and sending lots of (((HUGS))) your way. If this is God's will for you, then He will give you the strength and courage you need to make that phone call. I have no doubt that He has great plans for you and your future family!

I hope you find the strength and time that you feel ready to make that call. You can do it whenever you decide. Its ok, Your baby will be yours no matter what. God has his plan for you and its going to happen.

About that lady crying because she found out she is having a girl and not a boy. What the heck! Seriously, why don't you worry yourself with more important things like "Is my baby going to be healthy when its born", you know things like that.

Ok sorry about that, but I understand that it has to be very frustrating to have to sit there and listen to that.

So cool! Good luck on the adoption process. It feels like such a bitter process, we decided to become foster parents and all of the sudden everyone is getting pregnant. One woman I know even got pregnant on the first try! Just pour the salt on my open wound why don't ya!?

I like your blog, I'm going to link you over on my page.
