So Sorry!

Hi guys. I feel like it's been ages. But honestly I was having a hard time with the blogger world. Feeling sorry for myself when everyone else was having such great, wonderful moments, wondering if I would ever get there. Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy and excited for all of my friends who are pregnant, or have their little buddles of joy already. But, it was like I had reached a breaking point and I just couldn't deal. Please don't be offended by that. I think most IF women go through this at some point, but this bout seemed to last a little longer.

It didn't help that last Wednesday my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Even as I type those words, I still can't believe it. My mom has breast cancer. That's so scary. She went to the doctor on Monday and another doctor yesterday. The first doctor said that it is NOT the aggressive form, it's small, no chemo, radiation for 6 weeks, lumpectomy... This is all so scary to me. I'm trying to be positive for her, but it's scary. Truly scary. That's the only word to describe it. Please if you could, keep my mom in your prayers that she will be fine. I would appreciate it.

I'll write more later, I was just breaking myself back in. I've missed you guys and hope you understand why I've been MIA. LOVE YOU!!!

So sorry to hear about your mom! Will be praying for her.

We all reach a breaking point sometimes and it's good to take a step back to refocus, then get back in the game.

Sounds like you have a lot going on in your life. I'm sure you will have the love and support that you need. God Bless.

I totally understand how you feel about needing to "pull back" in order to deal with your emotions. I so understand.

I'm kinda in shock after reading your post. I am sending prayers for your mom/my aunt and believing what the doctor said about it being treatable. I'm so glad it was caught now. And here I've been neglecting my monthly checks.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! Mine is a two-time breast cancer survivor. I hope that she has an uneventful treatment and comes out cancer free!

I doubt you would ever offend anyone from the IF world with saying that you needed a break. We have all been there. I'm just sorry that you are now. Take all the time you need.

And I am incredibly sad to hear that about your mother. My thoughts and prayers will be with your family. It sounds like they caught it early. I hope she kicks cancers butt!

Hugs for you, hugs for your mom.

I am so so sorry to hear about the terrible news this past week. But I want you to know that with the non aggressive breast cancer she can definitely beat this. She can do it, I know it. Just to tell you a good story that will hopefully help you and your mom and family... I hope you don't mind because I understand that this isn't your mom, but its a good story about breast cancer. :)

My grandmother at the age of 62 was diagnosed with breast cancer. She did a full mastectomy, then Chemo and radiation for about a year. I know this sounds horrid but she was tough and supported and the mastectomy was nothing when it came to her life. She is now 75 and still breast cancer free and she is as healthy as can be. Be there and try to be strong for your mom, My prayers will be with you guys for your future babies and for your mom always.
God is powerful and prayer can change anything. He hears us!

Also don't feel bad at all for not wanting to hear about everyone elses babies and pregnancy's you are trying to deal with things right now and the last thing you need is to have it in your face all the time. Focus on you, and your family right now. Don't apologize for not being a cheerleader to those who have made it. We are needing to be here for you right now, not the other way around. Ok I just went off forever, I'm so sorry. Thinking of you. Praying for you guys!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I will definitely keep her in my prayers. Cancer is scary, especially when your parent is the one whose diagnosed. I'll be praying for you too.

Also, please do not feel bad at all for taking a break from blogger for awhile. I totally understand and I'd be willing to bet that everyone else that is going through or has gone through IF understands too. It is hard to see everyone else's good news while at the same time wishing the same thing for yourself but not knowing what the future holds. Hang in there. I know God has great plans for you!

I'm so sorry about your mother and about you feeling sad. Infertility is a hard enough roller coaster to deal with without adding in family health scares. But God is in control, and I will be praying to Him for you!

I'm very sorry to hear about your mom. It sounds like they have caught it early enough to effectively treat. Even knowing that doesn't take away how scary it is.

Oh Michelle. It's totally and completely normal to "check-out." We can't help but feel sad that we don't have what other's have. But it's at the times we pull out of that low that makes us stronger.
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I would be scared too if I were in your shoes. The fact that it's not aggressive is a good sign, but I'm sure it doesn't take away the anxiety. Just remember the Lord doesn't give us anything we can't handle. He also surrounds us by people that make us stronger. Be your mom's rock and together you can get through this! Lots of prayers!!

What a hard time for you. I am so sorry. IF definitely has it's emotional cycles and there is no need to apologize for anything.

Keeping you in my thoughts.
